Yous will proceed to need a DOS emulator like DOS box.  (there are several).

An alternative if your hardware supports it would be to run windows XP in a hyper-v (virtual machine) and run DOS in that.

Win 10 will not IMHO ever exist able to run DOS natively.

You tin use Hyper-V to install Windows 98 in a virtual environment, I estimate. I haven't tried it, though.

Put a checkmark inside the checkbox besides Hyper-5 to install the virtual machine environs. Afterward it installs, you can try to install Windows 98. Hyper-V can exist installed through Windows features.

Be conscientious when you assign RAM to Windows 98. Information technology should never be larger than 512 MB. Otherwise, Windows 98 may not run.

If you lot have Windows ten Home so try VirtualBox y'all tin can run a Windows 98 virtual automobile in that. (if you still accept the install media/license)

Simply for info there is a setting called shared folders. Y'all can allocated a folder on the host system and it becomes a drive in the virtual auto. But skilful to know you are making progress.

VirtualBox is fix to use the host DVD/CD drive every bit default. After all that is how you installed Windows 98, right. Did you expect at shared folders.
